This one started as a prayer. Just me talking to God, not expecting anything back. What came instead was an encounter with Jesus that changed my life. I wrote the song right after, while His grace was still fresh on me.

When my grandson was struggling with a fear of monsters at bedtime, it reminded me how easily we can all feel overwhelmed by the "monsters" of anxiety, doubt, and fear in our own lives. I wrote this song to show that no matter how big our fears seem, the presence of Jesus is always bigger. It is becoming a children's book, too.
